Honestly, if I had to rate this movie (although I loved it and will definitely add it to my summer movie list), I’d have to give it a 6/10. Now, if we cut the last 15 minutes out of the movie, a SOLID 8/10. The last 15 minutes and the “plot twist” ending seemed to drag the movie on. The suspense could have came alone from the long shot of the hallway with the attic stairs, rather then that abrupt change of events warranting 90% of the bloody gore within the last 10 minutes of the movies end. I will 100% watch it again, but my suggestion is to turn off the TV when Woody and Davey high five in this feel good ending. With a movie keeping you on the brink of “who did it”, you would think that they would want to keep you on your toes for the ending, however that was not the case. Shoving the gore, weird vengeance ending into the last fifteen minutes (possibly hinting at a sequel), it was too much in your face in the finale.
