I am a longtime fan but this book is not a favorite. The scope of the plot was too large and too much time was spent on the process of getting to the actual crime scene. Then things really got jumbled. The last book was disappointing as well. Perhaps it’s time to stop the series or change it up dramatically.

I think people should stop criticizing Miranda. Unless you have been in a sexless marriage you can’t know how horrible it is. She was very clear that she has different goals and interests than he does. And he didn’t disagree. I say go for it Miranda!!

Loved the old cars and clothes. Some casting was great. But there was no clear story line or plot. Too many liberties taken with the original stories. Glacial pacing. Generally disappointing.
