The problem I felt with this series was it is never able to focus on developing teleplay. It's all over the place shifting narratives without a proper arc. I'm not at fully familiar with the beliefs of the faiths shown in the series so maybe I didn't connect with it. It keeps toggling between faith and politics so much that neither arc gets developed properly. The amount of time wasted on showing the same characters constantly brooding at different junctures through the story seemed avoidable. Should have gone for better sub plots to bolster the story and keep engaged. I fell asleep quite a few times while trying to binge this. So many characters go unraveled and their arcs end abruptly. The one star is for a very good premise and decent acting choices. It's a lost opportunity though!!

ITS A MUST WATCH!! It's difficult to believe that this show began in 2010!! I just finished binge watching this and my gosh what a worthy show!! It's an absolute hidden gem!! Each character's journey through the series is complete joyride. The way they are woven around each other constantly causing some crazy situations. There's drama, comedy, some really unexpected legal cases and some beautiful moments of reflection!! You can get watching in any mood you are.... So bloody uplifting!! The writing and the story line are meticulous and well placed. The teleplay is always engaging. The dialogues are very fresh and bursting into poetry at times. Every actor is cast perfectly and all of them have done justice to the role assigned. The direction, the music and everything is perfect from a technical and aesthetic standpoint!! I'm not sure why this didn't become a global trend earlier!! It beats many of the American comedy shows of the last decade by miles in content and execution!!
