I watched 2 episodes only. Not bothering watching the rest.
I love historical dramas and had very high hopes about this series. Completely disappointed.
If you want to learn about horrors of slavery or actual underground railroad, save yourself some time and watch a one hour documentary on YouTube. Or read it on Wikipedia.
Everything is so exaggerated, dark (literally dark), and inaccurate.
How an actual locomotive can "breath" underground? It needs a lot of oxygen to burn coal. In real life, everything shakes when a train passes close by. Here, a train travels 10 feet under your town, middle of the night, tooting loud...and everyone is sleeping above comfortably!
A complete network of actual metal railroads and tunnels under the ground, with lots of trains and timetable! It's just ridiculous. It's impossible to build it now, after traveling to and back from moon.
Political correctness is the reason no one dares to criticize this series. If a famous reviewer or blogger talks ill of this series, her/his life will turn into hell with the barrage from politically correct folks.
This series has a very black and white view of everything. It just drives a wedge and deepens already problematic racial tensions in America.
