I grew up with Sonic during the 90s. This movie was targeted at kids more than anything else. The plot doesn't fit at all, it's your typical pop culture over and over. Sonic Is a Mobian. Where are the chaos emeralds? Not one mention of that. Sonic has parents and many friends but is described as alone? Not one piece of nostalgia was ever brought up. Ever. I wish they did an adaptation to the Archie comics series that way us 90s Babies would actually enjoy it.
