Cassandra is a thrilling, complex show that will have you hooked.
There are many victims in the show but the key ones are Cassandra and her children as they actually lost their lives. It showed how the patriarchy, toxic masculinity, homophobia, misogyny (there are other factors at play) mainly stemming from Horst all intertwine to create the tragic victims that are Cassandra, Peter, Margarete.
So the real villain was Cassandra's husband Horst - a despicable man who honestly deserved a much worse fate than what he got.
There is so much you can take away from this show that I havent mentioned.
Its honesty so sad and you wish by the end that Cassandra could have had a better ending where she didnt have to become part of a machine and where she was able to live a happy life with Peter and Margarete.
