Excellent show. An hour and a half forces it to drag on a bit but it still maintains being very entertaining. And, thankfully, not dark or gorey like so many detective shows.

Come on!! How can a slow paced, tedious game that is less challenging than Super Mario get such great reviews?? AND with the so called 7 years of development how can this have such poor graphics? Face it. They just embellished on BOTW graphics. And suckered the gaming population. Honestly, Skyward Sword had seriously better graphics. And for $70 ? I’m just glad that I watched it being played before I bought it. Heck, Link’s Awakening is much more entertaining and enjoyable than this rehashed game.

FIRST, this series plays the absolute worst country music ever made. Voices that are so nasily imitating a southern accent it’s embarrassing. But the show is pretty good. It’s just that horrible music that keeps the stars down to two.

I really enjoyed this show for quite a few seasons but it just keeps getting weaker and weaker. Every detective is more and more bland and boring. The supporting characters are really bad actors now - especially the sergeant. She just reads the lines with no emotion or enthusiasm. She is absolutely void of personality. The new trainee - yikes! She’s more like Marlon’s mother than a police officer. There is never a moment of excitement in the show anymore. What a drag. Such potential but such poor execution.

Even when not comparing this to the early Death in Paradise Kris Marshall episodes this series is just falling flat. There’s just too much underlying drama with the still in love ex-fiancée, the meddling soon to be mother in law, the disgusting and lazy dispatcher, the pathetic little kid rookie and the hateful superintendent. It takes way too long for the crime to be solved because there is so much other nonsense in the way. And how come the restaurant is never preparing food or even has customers? It’s like a prop that the producers just don’t care about.
