preface: coming from someone who's never played a sonic game before + got the game for free on playstation! gameplay: 2/5. feels like it plays itself, iffy level design that can be easy to get confused on sometimes or fall off. controls are very slippery and can lead to falling off of platforms + dying. also, classic sonic controls bad. just saying. story: 3/5. i love infinite so much! i just wish we got more of the other characters. playability/fun: 4/5. while the game feels like it plays itself, it is really fun. that playing for you bit sometimes makes you feel like youre really good Iol. boss fights: 5/5!!! the boss fights were so goshdarn fun. (spoilers) one of infinite's fights is a copy-paste of a previous metal sonic fight, but other than that, the boss fights were so good. character customization: 4/5. the closet and cosmetics you unlock really make it worth it; especially when you unlock the ability to make more than one character at the end of the game. good stuff. only thing is I wish there were more customizable patterns... and the hats didn't hide the majority of the characters' ears. music: 999999/5!! goodness gracious the soundtrack is amazing. I love the song that plays when you're double boosting! in all, a very impressive game with a fun and intriguing story. would give a 3.5 if I could ^^
