Poorly crafted movie that is extremely lengthy for no good reason. Poorly casted including Mohanlal. Movie boasted about story of a patriot warrior and Mohanlal just looks old and tired and nothing like a warrior. Why cast the worst looking/acting white actors? Several scenes/ideas were borrowed from movies like Troy and Gladiotor, show like GOT. Portuguese people would be speaking portugese and not English. Costumes made it look like film was set in Afghanistan or Pakistan. Overall this looked like a movie the crew put together without much attention to detail. It was mentioned that crew took their liberty to fill in missing historical data. Even so, there needed to be a minimum level of commitment to research and present as authentically as possible. When director/writer chose to use "f" word in a movie depicting 14th/15th century, you revealed lack of sense and poor attempt to create comedy. In a nutshell this movie is an attempt to make major profit ( nothing wrong with it) by casting numerous unnecessary actors but cutting corners in writing/screenplay, proper research and commitment to produce a quality product. Moviemakers take note, you can't keep selling old wine in new bottle anymore. Senior actors respectfully should stick to movies that suit their age and ability. Viewers are more critical than ever before.
