I watched the movie because it came on TV and I was stunned to find out that women were involved in the NASA program. I always thought NASA was a bunch of guys in white shirts and skinny black ties. If you just want a "feel good" story then by all means watch it. If you want to know the true story then you should read the book. It's a great read and is much broader in scope than the movie. The true facts are very much different than the movie.
