I finished the game a few days ago now, and I have taken a little time to collect my final thoughts on the game before writing the review. I'm giving the game 3 stars because because it is a 10-15 hour story spread out over a 40 hour game. with some of the worst driving controls in gaming period. it is that bad it makes ride to hell look really good (and I thought that this was impossible). some of the controls are a little wonky and at some points in the game (mainly boss fights) the controls are just terrible. but all that said some of the characters mainly higgs and cliff are some of the best villain characters of this console generation. but the rest of the characters aren't really that interesting. and the games 3rd act is literally just a 3.5 hour exposition dump and the ending sucks, like its really bad. I'm giving it a 3/5 because the games soundtrack is amazing, exploring the map and the different areas for the first time was always fun and fresh. the cliff boss fights were all really fun and the final fight with higgs is really well developed. and the game's world design is also really good. overall the game is worth it on a deep sale we're talking 30 bucks or less. the game play loop is just 40 hours of fetch quests.

I got the platinum trophy in this game in a little over 67 hours and aside from the spider room in the nightmare (because I have arachnophobia) I loved every second. the game is easily the best game for the 2010's probably of all time it blows GTA 5 (the elected game of the decade) out of the water. this game has a better story and a way more fun environment and game play loot to explore. I will say one thing though, don't take the 1 star reviews too heart. for the most part they are all straight up wrong (as in factually incorrect) or people who are stuck in the first area of the game and think that its too hard (one didn't know how to read) and everyone else is just giving negative reviews for a PC port. yes this game has some FPS drops and it is really noticeable sometimes. the game would play way better on PC and I do want to see this game run at a consistent FPS (even if it is 30 but it needs to be consistent) the games world is my personal favorite to explore out of all of Fromsoftwares work (makes you wonder how they came out with dark souls 2 as a game) this game is a steel for 20 bucks and the DLC is really really good too the old hunters expansion is roughly 10 hours long adds 5 bosses and some new weapons, and and 3 new areas for another 20 its worth it (especially considering that three of those bosses are some of from's best) I can 100% recommend this game to everyone who has the means to play it.
