This movie was AMAZING!!! My husband and I usually look up movie tickets last minute… not for this show. We booked weeks in advance to ensure our seats. I was engaged the ENTIRE TIME. There was literally not one moment or one scene where I thought “this adds nothing to the movie, are you just trying to drag this out?” Every scene in the movie is a masterpiece. The cast, the acting (top tier), the costume design, the music, the scenery, the character development….. SO AMAZING!!!! I am a big fan of LOTR, and Hobbit…. And this is right up there with them it was that good!!!! You definitely want to watch this on the big screen!!

The trailer for this movie is very misleading. It makes it look like it’s going to be this action packed movie with mystical creatures giving you witchcraft mixed with The Hobbit and Harry Potter vibes but the Maleficent version. ITS NOT. This movie was so disappointing. It’s very drawn out and I actually contemplated walking out of the movie theater. Admittedly, I checked my watch several times to see if it was close to wrapping up soon. The movie was shot very beautifully so to that I give it credit. But it’s just boring and I truly feel like the energy that was put into the trailer of this movie, did not translate well to the actual movie itself. Save your time and money. Go watch something else.
