I want to like this show. I’ve put myself thru all 3 seasons and there are some truly amazing moments. The story is different, and you don’t really know what to expect. That said, sometimes they just take this approach too far. There are several episodes in the second and third seasons that are completely a waste of time and having them removed would change absolutely nothing about the story. I suppose I made the mistake of assuming this was a story about opposing superpowered forces trying to save the world, or destroy it, or accidentally destroy the world trying to save it. But it’s more like a weird abstract painting where story telling avoids straight lines, and you’re punished for trying to keep track of the characters and care about them. One character I really wish they did something with us “Carrie” the female side. She almost never wins a fight, and the fight scenes with her look so clunky. I don’t know if she’s a bad actress or they just made her look dumb on purpose. By the end of the third season I was dying for it to be over. The third to last episode I skipped 90% of, and then before the next episode they recapped the recent story, and didn’t need to include a single scene from that episode. What a waste, you’re wrapping up a season why would you go on yet another tangent? Yeah cool music videos tho bruh. Originally In season one these were a refreshing side note from the story, but by the end they were just another way to run in circles. Season one is worth it, that’s all I can say.
