As a Godzilla fan since I was maybe 2 or 3, this movie hit all the right spots. Great monster designs and action. If you care about the human element in a movie titled "Godzilla" you are obviously looking for the wrong things as to what makes this movie so faithful to the older Toho films. Music was fantastic as well, a little facelift for the original scores. See this movie as many times as you can. Don't let Rotten Tomatoes critics score fool you. Who you gonna believe? The 39% score made by a few hundred people who's job is to pick apart a movie completely, or the 89% score by literally the THOUSANDS of people who went to see it and post a review?
