I notice a lot of people think this movie is too sexual and ask why the women are wearing those costumes that basically expose them. It is supposed to be about the male fantasy and male gaze, and how they portray women. But these women show that they are fighters and take back their sexuality. The fight sequences are shown to represent their dissociation from having to sell their bodies. They are quite literally fighting to save their own lives. The ending was a sort of a twist and strange but I still very much enjoyed it. I found it very inspiring as a young woman. This film is very quotable IMO. And the soundtrack is immaculate. I recommend this film to anyone and everyone. But of course it is not going to have the same effect on everyone as it did on me, but I still think everyone should see this movie at least once. But personally, I have seen it 3+ times and I still get those feelings of inspiration and power. Thank you Zack Snyder for this amazing piece of art!!!
