Hi Sarah Jessica Parker, I just wanted to say I absolutely loved the character of Carrie Bradshaw in SATC. Carrie was so funny, charming and filled with a joie de vivre. I was anticipating great things in And Just Like That, but I was so disappointed and confused... Where has that joyful Carrie gone? It was like watching a totally different person. You seemed sad from the start, deflated even. Then, when you had the greatest reason in the world to be heartbroken, never mind sad, you froze when Mr Big died. I cried more than you did.
Miranda and Charlotte were more themselves, except Miranda kept apologising and making one truly cringe worthy racist foupar after another. What about her long relationship with Dr Robert Leeds in SATC? Has Miranda forgotten that his colour was never mentioned or an issue for her or anyone else, as of course it would not be in cosmopolitan NYC. Charlotte has fared better and is more true to herself.
It's not about age, although you and Cynthia Nixon appear apologetic for ageing and not being utterly up to date with everything. Can you not just be an older version of who you once were? Still stunning, still wonderful in your fifties. One last thing, is there any way to persuade Kim Cattrall to revive Samantha Jones? The dynamic of three is not the same, especially when you, SJP, seem so different... Come on writers, you can do better, put the 'Fabulous Four' back on our screens and let Carrie find herself again.
