Watched this movie. Have watched all the other films even all the avp films. All have a unique story arc and atmosphere. What is different is this one has easter eggs to the previous 2 but also some chuckle one liners that first had also the spear from avp 1.Shane has taken his love for action and Sci fi and the graphic novels. It has flaws yes but what film these days doesn't that isn't a superhero movie. They use some cgi which is off but what film doesn't the predator is still a person which is always epic. I would suggest watch it opened minded and then watch the extras and see what this film is about and also the ideas and why this film is exactly like the original one. I would give it 4/5 for effects, predator and action and story. It's bad points some off cgi and some bad acting but not from the group the 'loonies'.
