Just absolutely incredible. A painful story that manages to inspire hope.

This film is a horrifying, gut punching, icky metaphor for alcoholism and what it’s like to get lost in the disease/ what it’s like to live with someone with the disease. Some of the horror tropes that the film relies on are a little wacky, but most of them (the cockroaches, the descent into insanity, the way that his partner’s life gets consumed by his darkness and fear) work really well.
