I saw the film in 1961 when it premiered in NYC when I was 12 years old. To this day it’s still one of my top 3 films of all time.
The songs, the music, the dancing and the actors are outstanding. A Visual Masterpiece. But you cannot watch it on commercial tv. Commercials ruin-the flow.
