Only comparison with Panchayat is the makers are same TVF Creations and based in rural backdrop, other than that this series is nowhere near to Panchayat. The writing is not good enough to keep you connected with the characters. The story jumps from one boring plot to another quickly and slowly you will loose interest. You will fall in love with none of the actors. I definitely don't need another season and I am sure the makers will get to make the second season anytime soon.

I watched it only until Nicholas Brody was alive, thereafter it becomes like chewing gum, chew it till you lose interest..

I never was a fan of zombie shows, but I don't remember how I started watching The Walking Dead, I loved it, I liked the characters of Michonne and Daryl, it appears those characters have been tailored for the actors, they have nailed the performances. Awaiting more such shows from AMC. For those who are planning to watch, go for it, you won't be disappointed.
