This movie had no similarity to the books. If I were you, I'd just read the books instead. The whole plot was changed which made everything very confusing and wrong. They changed up the descriptions of characters, the genders, the personalities especially. They didn't have his mother in there and they had Artemis's father instead who shouldn't be there. Opal Koboi should definitely not be there, it's like they were trying to squash 2-3 books together. They mention Butler's first name (NEVER CALL HIM BY THAT) and they ruined the whole thing. I was so excited when it came out and was super upset by how bad it was. Basically, the only similarity to the books is the characters' names and that Holly Short, Root, and Foaly are fairies. 👎👎👎👎👎
