I had not read the book upon which the movie was based I also had no idea the movie was about domestic violence All of the characters portrayed their roles very believably Although in length, the movie was long, it was very engaging and fast moving. The characters were very well developed. The movie also did identify the potential cause of the damage to young Ryle's character that he could not let go of It was horrific so clear and understandable why it was still such a big part of his life I was shocked at the ending and did applaud Liliy's decision it is a movie everyone should see and l highly recommend it There has been considerable negative press about the relationships between the actors on set Do not let that deter you from seeing the film I like to see a movie without knowing too much about it prior to viewing. The movie is a definite winner

Keeps the viewer guessing until the end. Stay with it

I have only watched the first half hour so probably not a true reflection of the series. Nicole Kidman keeps slipping out of the Russian accent and her acting in the scenes to date, granted just a few, is so wooden. Everything seems so stilted. The show may improve. Seems to have received better reviews than what l am providing. Give it a go if you have the time,

The series is terrific. Lots of twists. I loved it.

Anna is a great actress handling a very difficult and emotional issue. So many people are in abusive relationships that are very hard to leave Good on her for bringing light to this very very destructive topic.

A brilliant movie. Sandra Bullock is a wonderful actress. Recommend this movie completely.
