I personally thought it was amazing and I don’t care what other people will say. The majority of people that don’t enjoy this film have no exposure to musicals at all so don’t know what to expect. I’ve never seen the stage version but was still pleasantly surprised. Yes the beginning is quite weird however once you get to the Gumby cat the film gets better from there onwards.
