Alright so I'm rewriting my review on this show since, as I hoped, it has gotten quite a bit better. Now I'm not one of those people that think something's bad because it's "different", but the main issue with this show in particular is that it tries to change too much, making the show not really feel like TMNT anymore, which is probably why most fans don't really like it. Like Raphael being the leader instead of Leonardo, changing the Turtle's iconic weapons (Like what the hell?) and the absence of (the) Kraang. Another thing I'm not too fond of is the addition of "magic". I see no reason for magic to be instituted into a show about four mutant turtles trained in ninjutsu with their rat master. There are some things I like about this show though, like the mutant underground and especially the animation style, it's refreshing and bonus points for not doing CalArt. Now when I said this show is getting better, it is, at least for me. The fight sequences have improved and the Turtle's personalities are being flushed out a bit more. I have hopes that they will eventually make Leonardo the leader, as this is "RISE of the TMNT" and a few episodes have already foreshadowed it, kind of. Plus, they've kind of already fixed Splinter, well not completely, but he at least shows compassion for his sons now and is actually starting to train them, which honestly, surprised me. So as of now, this show is a 7/10, really fun to watch but it could be so much better if they kept a few key elements from previous installations of the TMNT franchise and y’know, added in some more action.

Absolute stellar video game. I’ve always loved the Doom franchise and I can say this is a worthy successor to 2016. Eternal just adds so many new elements. Going back to 2016, while still enjoyable, feels bare in comparison. You’ll be trying to dash, or a lob a grenade in to a Cacodemon, realizing that you can’t do that. If anything, 2016 has a better atmosphere but Eternal definitely notches up the gameplay loop. I can admit the game isn’t perfect, in haste to add “variety” Eternal did end up overbloating itself. You’ll get used to the mechanics, and it won’t be as overwhelming as it was in the beginning but hey, some people aren’t going to like that intensity. I do want to clear up some criticisms floating around though: 1.) Resource management: Yes your ammo caps are much smaller in this game and yes there a fewer pickups but there’s a balance to this. The chainsaw. One fuel pip recharges after around 20 seconds and all you need is one pip to chainsaw a fodder enemy. Chainsawing enemies gives you loads of ammo and fodder enemies (at least in the arenas) respawn constantly until all other higher class demons are dead. Ensuring the player doesn’t run out of ammo mid-fight. 2.) Platforming: There is maybe 15 minutes total of platforming in the game. Very little. It’s more of a nitpick if you dislike it. It serves as an engaging way to traverse the level during downtime between fights. For the most part, this works great. (Earlier levels have quite a bit of platforming but once you get to mid-game, there’s much less of it) 3- Art direction/tone: This is really a preference. The arcadey style they took with this game actually compliments the gameplay. 2016’s grittiness just wouldn’t fit. Demons are much more expressive in Eternal, if a darker tone surrounded that, it’d come off as unfocused. So, some people might want to sit down, chill and shoot demons. That’s what 2016 succeeded at greatly and you’re probably not going to like Eternal if you’re expecting the same thing. Eternal is a much faster-paced FPS. It requires full attention and focus during every fight and encounter. If you’re not for that then this game isn’t for you. It’s one of those games that gets better the more you improve and I can’t recommend it enough if you’re a fan of fast-paced action shooters.

It’s one of those sequels that wasn’t needed and you wish wasn’t canon to the franchise. Also, Aaron Ehasz (who was a writer for ATLA) is absent from the writing team in LOK and oh boy, does it show.

I’ve waited to make a review so my frustration and anger could pass over and not cloud my judgement...this show isn’t awful, but it isn’t good either. It’s basically the Spongebob of CN, but y’know, a more crude and offensive version. The only reason this continues to be aired is because it’s one of the only shows that take up the time slots...and it takes up most of them. I still dislike the show for what it stands for, but at least the creators have the common decency to make fun of their show once and a while, so I’ll respect that much. The show can be somewhat interesting at times and I decided to watch a few episodes from each season for a few years so I could see if the show would improve...*ahem* Firstly the episode, 40% 40% and 20% was amazing, like kudos to the team for proving that they can actually make a smart show. Other than that and the voice acting, TTG is just mediocre at best. So why don’t I like it? (Also no I didn’t grow up with the original Teen Titans, I watched it when it aired late at night a few years after it got cancelled and yeah, it’s good.) Reason 1: This show was created by people who don’t respect the fans, nor the original show. I mean even one of the lead creators of TTG said they’ve never watched the original show, but I do not have the patience to find and specify who it was. I just still don’t understand why such beloved IPs continue to be given to people with little to no connection with the fandom or source material. It’s like telling a director who’s seen maybe one or two Star Wars movies (like myself) to go ahead and write a new sequel, prequel or whatever. Of course it’s going to be bad, they have no idea what made the movies before work. Reason 2: The show’s name makes the demographic obvious, “Teen Titans” even with the word “Go” afterwards you would expect this to be for TEENS, and the original show was just that. In this new incarnation, they change everything. The tone, the characters, the story...just everything, making it have nothing to do with the Teen Titans other than that it uses the same characters...which don’t really keep their personalities anyways. In other words, replace the characters in this show and you got yourself a completely different series. So why even call it Teen Titans Go? It legit has nothing to do with the Teen Titans other than to use them for jokes and gags. - Like even the premise of TTG originated from the old comedy shorts from the OG series. Reason 3: Besides the fact that this show attacks fans of the original who bash TTG for being uninspired and crude, the show also started an awful trend...bad reboots. The PowerPuff Girls and Ben10 tried to ride the tailcoat of TTG’s surprising success and rebooted these classics in favor of the Lol Random humor because, hey, “It worked with TTG” This kind of turned into a rant which I wasn’t intending. I’m being harsh but that’s because I know the team behind this show can do so much better. Keep the tone, keep the humor, keep the animation, but the writing changes everything. I’ve seen this team of people actually make some really good stuff, and the fact that they decide to take very few creative risks frustrates me. Like I said the show isn’t awful but it’s still bad in my eyes. Even if this was a completely original show, I find no redeeming qualities other than the really strong voice acting by the cast (Who also voiced the original Teen Titans) and sometimes the episodes actually being interesting. TTG just comes off as a lazy, disrespectful reboot that would serve better as shorts or a mini-series. Sorry to anyone who loves this show, I just don’t.

The game is pretty good, it’s one of those games you can just sit down and play. There are cutscenes but most of them are rather short and it doesn’t cut to a cinematic scene, so there’s no abruptions and just keeps the gameplay smooth. It is a bit repetitive with all the button mashing but still good fun.

I haven't played the game myself, but I can already tell (from watching gameplay) this is an amazing addition to the FNAF Franchise. In my personal opinion, this is one of the better looking VR games and with FNAF being a mostly stationary game, VR works really well with it. I'm surprised on how well this turned out, and if you're a fan of the franchise or just want some good ol' scares I defiantly recommend this.
