This was NOT a Selena series, this was all about the Quintanilla family. As a fan of Selena, they made her shy, small, almost invisible. The dad had more lines than her!!!! I've seen many video interviews of her and she was bold, outspoken, funny, she brought light to everything! Not only the performance/portrayal of her bad, but also the wigs seem distracting. Also, the timeline/setting was confusing where sometimes it'd go back to Abraham's childhood, again, not about Selena. I understand adding new details regarding how the band started but it completely overshadow the main protagonist. What I enjoyed was the childhood cast. I really expected a lot more.
