I cant imagine how difficult it must be to write something like this, cast it, and produce and direct it and sell it to Netflix... however, the story to me didn't make sense. I never had a true feeling if the PINES was a good or bad place. It seems Toni Collette's character had good intentions... Some of the characters seemed to feel that it helped them while others wanted to escape their feelings all together. Maybe that is what being a teen is about... The ending lacked clarity to me... does Alex stay with his wife and baby? Does he continue the "cultish" relationship with the his wife and fellow members? The show seemed hither and yon. Not deeply comitting to any one belief system . What ever happens to Rory? There was a lot of great acting and Toni Collett's performance was outstanding. Leile and Abbie especially felt very real. Rabbit and Stacey... Mae's seemed to have a one note face of anxiety and doubt throughout the series. In the end the strongest person ended up being the one that got away..

Love this show and especially the magnificent scenery ....fabulous acting and Greek mythological characters .... murders upon murders ...

I lived through this time as a little girl and I remember my parents all of a sudden locking our doors at night after the Manson murders. It marked the end of an era, especially the “ love and peace” era. Tarantino captures in incredible detail, the feel, the music, the pace of the late sixties. The violence in the end was actually a nice twist ( fairytale style) of what we all wished had happened in the Sharon Tate murders. I loved this movie to pieces and plan on owning it and watching again.
