I thought this show aired on 6/2/20 was a wonderful insight into why the demonstrations from numerous excellent vantage points. But no one mentioned the effect of the Covid virus over the prior few months: Having to stay in doors, wear masks, being cut off from everyone, especially those whom we love who have had to die alone. For the blacks it has been especially frightening to hear over and over, day after day, that they are much more likely to get it, and to die from it. Why? Because they have not had good healthcare and have developed diabetes, heart conditions, etc. They have historically poor nutrition because they often choose food that is cheap, and a non-nutritious, such as fast food and packaged foods from small local stores, rather than nutritious fresh fruits and vegetables, good quality fresh meet, fish, all the things white people have readily available, in abundance. They have a president who advocates white supremacy, kept the gun stores stocking up since the pandemic arose, as essential businesses, when so many legitimate businesses were closed. These are the issues that never improve for the black and other minorities in America.
