Though it is based on supernatural and superstitious genres, it actually conveys deep inner meaning. Karma comes back to us. The story writer doesn't intend to make us believe in ghosts or spirits. Rather through the spirits as a model, we are being shown how our every action has consequences. What might seem right at the moment may not be in the long run. So we must always think about the bigger picture and act accordingly.

The plot about the obsession with external beauty was well thought. However, the sequencing of the scenes is a little bothersome and confusing. The fact as to why Yoonhee decided to hide her own daughter's existence is not appropriately explained. Also, why did the car blast take place is not exemplified. Like how can a static car just blast like that without any trigger?!! Few more points are unanswered: 1. Why did Yoonhee not help her daughter with her face? 2. How did Hyunsu's eye colour change? 3. Did Yoonhee's own daughter survive the hanging or it was the ghost of her that haunted the preserved body? 4. What happened at the end? Is it that both mother and daughter died, leaving the lost child Hyunsu alone? Why was their previous picture of exiting the room door shown?
