Enjoyed the story until the mystery was revealed. Very unrealistic, not remembering a pregnancy, birth, and newborn's kidnapping. Not to mention the person hiding the kidnapped daughter was the uncle, who, for no explained reason, killed the kidnapper. And then there's the family, friends, and the entire town, who were able to keep the "secret" for 9 years. And what about the best friend, Cate, who was supposedly on the next plane, to keep Nicolette company while her husband was away. Author dropped the ball on that one. Cate was basically a no show? Way too much happening in the end, as author seemed to struggle with bringing it all together.

I had high hopes, but the ending was so ridiculous, I wish I would not have wasted my time.

Most parts lacking detail and character development. Outright confusing at times. Especially poor timing when revealing the fact that Wren was really Emily. Very disappointed by the abrupt ending. I honestly said out loud, "that's it." What a waste of my time.
