I don't know what these people who left bad reviews have watched, but don't listen to them, this is an AWESOME show! If you want to pick it apart because of technical qualities about explosives maybe go watch a documentary, this is a TV show and not supposed to give you an education. I loved every bit of it, from the first episode I knew I was going to be hooked! The show takes turns I never expected, some risks too as it does no develop like any other shows would, and that it one more reason why I loved it, I did not expect those turns. Can't say more without spoiling it. It kept me on the edge of my seat, full of suspense and it made me feel like I was there with the characters, it really involves you, unless you are a cynical, technical individual ...lol... I am usually picky with shows and tried so many with higher ratings and gave up after 1 episode for bad acting or snoozy plots, have been really struggling to find something that would keep me this involved but this show here has it all. I love, love, love Vicky McLure, has binge watched lots of her work, she is incredibly talented, and so real. She was really good at this cool, tough chick character, I wanted her to be my friend....lol... not a lick of makeup on her and no fancy wardrobe but she killed it!!! Lots of other great actors, Adrian Lester, Warren Brown, Ewan Mitchell (Baby Monk, for the TLK fans) and so many other known faces, did such a great job, I can't find fault with anyone! Loved the entire cast. I am becoming a fan of British TV, and one thing I love about it is that their actors are no all pretty and perfect or a carbon copy of each other and full of plastic, they all look like normal people, with defects and all. Love it! The accents do not hurt either, I love Vicky's accent! But that's me! If you are looking for a show that will keep you at the edge of your seat, with down to earth and real looking characters, that explores the trauma of ex military personnel and the stress of police officers, that focus a bit more on the drama of the character rather then the particulars of explosive devices this is for you. Trigger point can be about the human aspect and not the explosive. I would highly recommend it. The only bad part is that it ends... and now I will have withdrawals.... :-(

I agree in part with the negative reviews but only in regard to the 3rd episode. I liked the show especially the first 2 episodes, the suspense and the tension were there throughout, it was driving me crazy how that woman (Paula) cold get away wit all of that, but I know people like that exist in real life, so it was believable. It helped that I love the actors and thought they did a fantastic job. The third episode was a bit ridiculous, with the husband leaving a baby on the window like that, I knew something was gonna happen, very predictable, also not possible and hard to believe there was no noise and no trace that quick. I could by pass that but the scene with the car locked in the garage, no way I can believe that! She was passed out and all of a sudden she was wide awake and full of energy, and able to drive the car??? Let alone the car would not drive with the battery of a flash light!!! It was a rushed ending and not believable at all, lots of instances where it was really easy to see what was gonna happen, but aside for the last 1/2 hour it was a pretty good show, shame it ended on a bad note. It had all the potential and the marvelous cast, love Morvan Christie and Vicky McLure!

I don't know if I should give a rating being that I watched about an hour of it and gave up! What a snooze, it is going nowhere, and makes no sense. I never liked DiCaprio, I don't know what people see in him, no presence, no charisma, he looks like a 13 yr old boy. I also don't understand the praise for his acting, it does not sound real or convincing at all! It sound scripted and forced and his facial expressions looks acted. I have been watching lots of UK tv series and there the acting is top notch, this sounds like satire, like they are making fun of characters, the conversations sound unnatural. I don't know what people like about this but I absolutely hate it. I won't waste another hours. Off to something better, probably more UK TV. My dislike for DiCaprio just increased....lol...

Terrible, horrible, ridiculous movie, Don t recommend at all!! When it first started I thought it might have potential, I am not a big fan of political or military based movies because they speak fast and use a bunch of acronyms and words that are hard to understand so I can't understand what is going on, and this was the case here, 1/2 of the conversation sounded like mumbo jumbo, but I tried to follow as best as possible. A missile is aiming at the US and there are 19 minutes to strike. Then it goes black and it starts elsewhere, different group of people same story, same 19 minutes and lots of repeats. Then it goes black again and it restarts again, one more time different group of people , same story and same 19 minutes with repeats for the third time. I get it same story different perspective, but why? it is identical, just the characters change. Nothing new is added! Two hours! To retell the same story multiple times! With mediocre actors, who barely had any emotions, and lots of them were not even that relevant. I don't get it! What on earth was the point?? To waster out time it seems! Highly disappointed. The funny thing is in the first 2 parts all you see is a black screen with the words POTUS and the president's voice sounds very similar to the current president...lol... so I thought they found someone to imitate his voice, and wondering why we never see his face. In the last part we do see the president and I almost laughed out loud when I saw who they chose to impersonate the POTUS with that voice???? Hilarious! The ending is a disaster... well because there isn't one... the screen just goes black and you think the ran out of tape??? or whatever they use... I was waiting to see if there was some text or an explanation...and nothing just silence.... what on earth is that supposed to mean???? You made us go through 2 hours of repeated scenes and unintelligible words just to turn off the camera and abruptly end it with no explanation?? I m furious for having wasted my time. Then 2 seconds later I see the credits and read the name Katheryn Bigelow and have a bad recollection of something similar happening before and lo and behold I was right... I remember watching " The Hurt Locker" and feeling the same way about the stupid end and terrible movie. I will avoid that name like the plague from now on. She should be fined for movies without closure!

I don't understand the negative reviews. Was it a bit slow, yes, it might have been shortened to 4 episodes but all in all it was a very good show. I had read the book last year, after watching Behind Her Eyes which is also a book by Sarah Pinborough and very similar in content. A bit of paranormal with suspense but also a very good show, and I remember people posting negative reviews as well, personally I loved it and quite liked this one as well. I would recommend both. I read negative reviews about the husband character...why??? I found him wholesome and totally attractive, love Tom Cullen with a beard and longish hair, and his scruffy outfits he can definitely rock it, plus he is a great actor. I love, love, love Vicky McLure she is one of my favorite British actresses, among many others, and again although some criticized it I loved her in this role, she made it so believable. The actress that portrayed the sister looks familiar I am sure I have seen her before and she did a great job as well, I loved their voices, their accents and their interactions. The 3 main actors really worked for me. I am sad the show is over because I will miss them. The story is different then the usual thriller, there is misdirection and enough suspense to keep you watching, I seriously doubt it you can figure it out, I am pretty good at it and I had a hard time until almost the end. Don't listen to the reviews, there is closure at the end with a slight cliffhanger but it has very little to do with the story. Maybe an open door for a second series? In summary I loved the story, the acting, the locations, the acents ...lol... loved everything. Thank you UK for bringing us always marvelous tv.

I give it 2.5 stars because I was able to finish the entire series, but it is not something I would recommend. It is somewhat boring, lots of things makes absolutely no sense, no attention to detail and felt very fake, like when Biel supposedly had a bleeding nose and kept stuffing a nose tissue in it and taking it out white as snow, not a drop of blood and then proceed in asking Am I still bleeding? Girl there is not a drop of blood on it!!!! Fake much??? Biel might be in great shape, for a model, but her acting is terrible, she is stiff and cold and read her lines like on a teleprompter, made her character sound ridiculous, her sister Nicky was a much better character. The rest of the cast is terrible, they look all ridiculous, and like caricatures of real people. The cringy detectives dialogues are so unreal, and one of them looked like Borat from Kazakistan....lol... the lesbian detective, unbearable and such a stupid character... and lets not talk about the weird looking FBI agent who looked , talked and acted nothing like one, what a joke!! All the male actors were unknown and unattractive, only the girls look decent...lol.. and of course all the males are bad.... lots of same sex couples as well, seems like the type of show pushing an agenda. All in all don't waste your time wit this woke, dumb show, Unless you are out of options and waiting for something better to come along.

It was a really good movie, I love James Norton and how good he is at playing the villain, a return to his Happy Valley bad guy character. He has that something that would make you believe the unbelievable. I think he played the character very convincingly. I did not know it was a real story, and probably it had to be a bit condensed even if the movie seemed a bit long. I know some people mentioned holes in the story, and some things are a bit questionable, but all in all it is a very enjoyable movie, there is a plot twist but I had already guessed it. The story is not 100% original but it had to follow the real story. I would recommend it, especially if you are a J Norton fan... he once again shines ad a bad guy... ;-)

I loved it. Great acting by actors I have never seen aside from Emmett Scanlan which I have seen in many other shows including Peaking Blinders. I know the fist season rubbed some people the wrong way with all the racist and homophobic topics, and it was a bit loopsided, all the white guys were the bad guys but it is still a good show and the actors did a fantastic job. Especially Gemma Whelan, her character was really unlikable ....lol.... she was very convincing. I love British TV, they have fantastic actors.

Wow!!! Norton is so good at being bad he almost convinced me as well as Francis! What a superb performance! Love all the characters and the actors, especially Siobhan Finneran, I am a big fan of her, loved her in everything I have seen her in, she makes her characters come to life, and seem so real...love, love , love her! Finished the second season and I can't get enough of this series, I love these characters, so flawed and normal , detective Cawood such a fierce, strong woman and yet so caring and full of compassion for everyone, tommy lee royce so evil , but all in all the entire cast is brilliant. Such intense performances, it feels so intense and so real. Everything about this series is top notch, too bad it has an ending. I also love the accent although at times a bit heard for me to understand I love the way the speak, and there is something about the sound when they talk so gentle, sometimes it sounds like they are whispering. I find it very appealing. I have seen some of these actors in other series and I am a fan of them, but I never saw Sarah Lancashire anywere before, I think she is an amazing actress, so imperfect and intense. Great acting. Love British Drama series and their actors, much more real then the US ones. I wold wholeheartedly recommend this series.

Meh its boring... nothing new or special about iy. Makes me go to sleep. Its not very deep.
