I don't write many film reviews but I thought this one deserved it because of the low critic ratings.
Yes it may be somewhat derivative, but it's a solid movie and exactly none of it felt out of place or a carbon copy of any of the thousands of movies I've seen before.
Reynolds was a great casting choice, as was Kingsley and Matthew Goode.
DEFINITELY worth 2 hours of your time.
The ending did feel a little rushed, but it wraps the overall story up pretty well, aside from not finding out what ultimately happened to Albright (I guess we're just supposed to assume that was the end to his story and company?)
There's nothing overly groundbreaking here but it was entertaining, engaging and I cared enough about the characters to be glued until the end.
4/5 because of rushed ending. 20mins extra might have been enough to smooth out some of the holes, but overall it's still a great movie.
