SH 2 remake is a admirable achievement & builds on top of what made the OG so great while also respecting the source material. The combat is more polished yet still unwieldy to create that brilliant uncertainty.. The monsters are more aggressive & smartly placed to create tension as you explore the town of Silent Hill.. Graphics are excellent with an impressive fog aesthetic & a musical score that is still top notch for this horror masterpiece.. The redesigned Boss fights are well done & I really appreciated the care to detail in a lot of the environments. This has become one of my favorite horror games now. 9.5/10

I was pleasantly surprised by this game. A bit rough around the edges but it's an enthralling experience with top notch atmosphere and a fantastic musical score that oozes into the background that just pulls you in and never lets go. This is a passion product made by only 2-3 Devs and mends Dark Fantasy & Sci Fi to make for a impressive aesthetic that nails that cyberpunk medieval vibe.. The action combat is solid with decent feedback and weapon/armor/crystal system is easy to understand.. a few minor UI bugs and frame rate being inconsistent sometimes can rear it's ugly head but all in all I'm having such a great time with the game.. if you was a fan of Mortal Shell or Hellpoint I think you'll definitely like this game.

Amazing game, the combat and exploration are a ton of fun and I absolutely was enthralled with 70+ hrs done.. one of the best games I've played this year.

Bought the Deluxe edition and having a lot of fun with the game. It feels like a great mix of crackdown and sunset overdrive! The traversal & combat are so satisfying to pull off..love the game

An awesome challenging hack & slash shoot em up bonanza. The game is quirky & stylish with fun gameplay once you get to the grips with it. A bit jank but all in all a good time.

As a huge fan of soulslike games. I really liked this game alot despite the minor performance issues I've experienced on the PS5. The combat is solid & fun with plenty of build variety. Weapons & Armor sets are extremely well done with interesting bosses to fight. Areas are a joy to explore & is as challenging as one would expect for a typical souls game. Shame that the performance woes many are experiencing are bringing this great soulslike game back. Enemy crowd density could also be adjusted for the better as there are just too many enemies in specific areas that just bloat the other wise excellent world design. All in all a good fun soulslike game that needs a little love.

Excellent game and great sequel to the first. If you was a fan of the the first one and like really great feeling shooting games with plenty of build potential then you'll love this game..

A fantastic retro style boomer shooter FPS that has an absolutely incredible soundtrack and combat that is insanely satisfying to play. Top Notch.

A charming fun game with a great soundtrack and solid combat mechanics. An interesting story that doesn't do anything new but is well written and the voice acting is stellar. Characters are likeable. Highly recommend
