Game is ok for the first play through or even 2-3 hours, after that though....it becomes a boring "watch the screen" game. There is literally nothing to do once you've stabilized your settlement with food, unlocked all tech, have a population of 150+ ,and built up all your defenses. You just hit 4x game speed and wait for the next raid to come, which get annihilated by your vastly superior archer towers, walls, and archer wall stands.
Game needs a lot more depth for it to be interesting and have prolonged playing value. There needs to be trade routes to establish, excursions to rival clans/villages to wage your own raids, WAY more tech unlocks, more prestige monuments or items to claim/build, larger land map for you to build/explore, caves/ruins to find and scavenge or unlock lore from, improved crafting materials list to craft more varied items/weapons, slower pace of gameplay as well, and many things. For reference, look at Rimworld, Dwarf Fortress, Song of Syx which does colony building with depth of gameplay way better.
TLDR: Game is ok for the first play or 2-3 hours. After that game shows its shallow gameplay. Needs more mechanics and things for the player to immerse themselves in. Game needs more development and refinement time for the above.
