Brave and true. Mother's Day (and Fathers' Day) can be a tough time for some of us.
The home movies reveal the constant cruelty. Of course, Mom doesn't know she's cruel, it's just how she learned to cope. She had no self-awareness.
Look around. How many other people are like this to some degree, walking around, hurting their kids and themselves.
This filmmaker/sister had compassion and vision. Very rare.
