When I was lying in the hospital looking for something to watch, I thought I couldn't get any sicker, until I saw this movie. The narrative follows the stereotypes of the damsel in distress and the "nice guy" trope to a tee. Cultural appropriation at best. Would rather call it cultural exploitation and mockery in the form of slapstick comedy.
