A good satire that realizes that Germany at the time was scary as well with sad moments and powerful quotes.
It’s more than just a satire, the way it’s shot can foreshadow later scenes and you don’t realize it until you finish the film.
The sad part is that a lot of people won’t watch it because of the fact that it’s a satire about WW2, but it’s more than that.
If you haven’t watched it, watch it.
Some satirical scenes are a bit over the top, but that’s satire. The film doesn’t make light of what happened in WW2, if you look at the poster it says it is an
anti-hate satire. It’s not meant to be taken seriously half the time, but the other half is deep and emotional, it balances these themes very well though. Now go watch it already! Have a nice day!
