An incredible movie packed to the brim with subtext and many layers to decipher. An excellent watch for someone who wants substance and something to chew on. The film meaningful explores themes like the conflict between art and capitalism (core theme), ideals vs compromises, Anti-semitism & Zionism, love, trauma, recovery, and war. The incredible performances (especially Brody's Oscar-winning) also beautifully showcase pride, dignity, tenderness, helplessness, indignation, fury, and so much more. Cinematography, visuals, and the soundtrack are also world class and well-fitting. Some people might not enjoy it as it requires great interest and a certain bandwidth to dive into. As there is a lot of things happening at a consistent pace, it does not make you feel something as much as give you a lot to unpack and decipher. To people who think the plot does not add up, I suggest digging deeper. I assure you, all the answers are right there, the film just doesn't spoon feeding them to you.

Beef was expertly written, beautifully shot, and features some truly incredible performances. Listen, I'm not here to give a poster-worthy quote or impress you with some big, pretentious words. I say those things because I want to do justice to the whole team behind this actual piece of art. Beef has a very emotionally-charged story and a whole bunch of interesting characters. Each character feels like a real type of person, and the whole story feels rich with things to chew on. Indeed, the show presents itself as this casual dark comedy like Barry (Apple TV), as if it doesn't want to be taken seriously. Meanwhile, the actions and motivations of the character leave you with enough food for thought to have a palpable need to unpack it all by the time it reaches its conclusion. I wish I had written fewer words to make this easier to read, but I just finished watching this gem, and it has been a beautiful, heart-wrenching, and memorable experience. One that touches upon so many things that we all struggle with as adults, overwhelmed in all the messed up kaleidoscopic chaos of our lives. Beef says that it'll all be okay and makes you feel like you'll make it through just yet.

This was the first Marvel movie that most of the people I know didn't immediately drop everything and rush to see. At first I was confused as to why. I loved everything about Dr. Strange ever since the first film being a big fan of Rachel McAdams and Benedict Cumberbatch, so I made sure to watch this one. I also don't watch any trailers and I avoid online discussions, promotions and such things like the plague ever since Avengers 2 basically gave everything away in their trailers. I absolutely loved the hell out of Dr. Strange MoM. This movie is so damn creative, well directed and just extremely well made. It might have had some loopholes that might not make the most sense if you think about them too long, but I didn't care, because it was extremely well paced and insanely entertaining. Later on I released that many people were disappointed by this movie because they had extremely unreasonable and unrealistic expectations from it, at the same time, they prefer screaming and hooting at the most shallow of blockbuster spectacles rather than appreciating the nuances of great story telling. Ultimately, it seems like nowadays movies are simply way too good at marketing and creating hype for their products that they simply cannot possibly live up to. It's a real shame because this movie was so great on so many levels. Without giving anything away, the acting, the cinematography, the lore, the direction, the CGI, the set and costume design, and the writing are world class to say the least. 9/10 would watch again.

This 70 minute French Claymation is all at once, heartbreaking, heartwarming, dark, hopeful, magical, and realistic. In its short runtime, It manages to communicate so much about its endearing, and otherwise, characters that it can only be called a masterfully written, visually appealing, perfectly voice acted, and beautifully soundtracked cinematic gold. Beyond all that, it has the best, most effectively piercing ending that I have ever experienced with poignant and intelligent dialogue that leaves a deep emotional impact on the viewer. That in itself should be ample reason for it to be studied by all writers and creators.

I loved the first one SOOOOO much, that I had very very low expectation from the second one, and yet chapter 2 and 3 were still so much more fun and enjoyable for me. Chapter 3 is the biggest most entertaining one of the three and I wouldn’t mind if they made another one!!! The action is just brilliant and the creators didn’t let me down one bit...
