I love this series! It has been so fun to watch and I was leery about it because I love and admire the true story of Catherine the Great. I really appreciate that this series gives you full disclosure that it is *occassionally truthful. So going in with that knowledge I love it. Its beautiful, funny, ridiculous and dramatic. Nicholas Hoult is so good in this role, his character surprised me. He is mean, moronic and ridiculous but also manages to be charming and sexy. Elle Fanning is of course delightful and sweet but she is also fierce in this. I really am hoping for a second season!
