Been playing the game since 2014, racked up around 15k+ hours plus made around 7-10k in trading and made lots of online friends. Mostly they added me because of my cool hats....
The game is very fun for the first 5k hours, But once your up into the the 10k + hours the game can become very frustrating. I dont know if it is because im a high rank/elo or something but i seem to get put on a team full of newbies vs a team full of higher ranked players all the time. I find myself saying " Where is my team" or "why is all of my team on the low ground" to often. On 2fort i see this all the time "Alert! The Enemy Has Taken Our Intelligence!" Then like 5 people respawn on your team and run out to the battlements then to the other side of the map like a pack of zombies not even realising the enemy team is coming up from the Intelligence room with the objective. I say to myself "i guess its a 1 vs 6" :(
I have to think back to when i was a newbie to put my self in there shoes and stop the thought that there A.I players trying to fill a server.
Some times its so nice just to play a single player game and not have to rely on 11 other players but it is what makes winning in tf2 so rewarding is that team effort of achieving a set goal.
The bot problem is not a problem for me because the game is still very fun even with that problem plus its not to hard for them to be removed from the match.
Some times ill find my self searching 2fort servers looking for a cheater to kill and taunt over and over until they leave the server. So i cant complain about the cheater problem to much when i find it a good challenge to vs them on the right maps and making them rage quit is a better feeling then winning all most any matches.
Best online team shooter there is to play and maybe one of the best online team games ever made.
