Brilliant. Best book I've read for a while. A fascinating insight onto life for women in the 1960's. One of the strengths of this novel is its vivid portrayal of the 1960s, capturing the atmosphere, attitudes, and challenges faced by women, and the built in sexism and inequality of the times.
