Arthur Lavigne

This is a mix of "Elf" and "Arthur Christmas" which are two of my favorite holiday movies. Unfortunately, this mixture is not as good as either of those movies but it's still a fun watch. Anna Kendrick is, as always, super cute as Noelle and she puts a lot of energy in her character. Bill Hader is not in the movie enough. Shirley MacLaine feels like she phoning this one in, she supposes to be the savvy streetwise elf but her acting seems flat. The plot is very predictable and by the end of the first five mins you'll already figure out the ending. Even with those faults it still was a pleasure to watch and I still would recommend it.
