First I saw this film was in 1979 when it premiered in one of the local theatres in JKT. It is one of the few films I have watched over and over during my 'growing up' years as a young adult. After seeing this movie for the first time I then somehow vowed and prayed to God that I wanted my SMA years to be in Indonesia. Funny thing is at the time I was still in Indonesia in primary school, I didnt even know that i was going to be sent abroad ... God bless everyone involved in this film and soundtrack production.. HIDUP INDONESIA!
