I just saw this movie last night after watching a good movie I had never seen also with Robin Williams in it, which even further made the film's flaws noticeable. First off when you see robin williams is the main character you think oh he must be the good guy but he's not. He's just as terrible as his God awful son. His gf is terrible because the whole movie you think she's cheating. All the minor characters are terrible because they flip flop after the beginning of the movie. The worst part is that the end tries to make Robin williams, his hoarder neighbor, and his sons only friend out to be the "people when we should love" when maybe the only character that isn't a horrible person or character is his friends son because the whole movie he's on to robin williams's scheme and he doesn't flip flop like all the other kids. But he should hate robin Williams after he finds out what he did. Every one should and he doesn't, he compliments him and gives him advice. It's overall a really messed up movie that a father capitalizes on his sons accidental death to get famous and noticed and when comming clean calls his own dead son a dick. Even tho his son is a dick, him being a caring father shouldn't call his own son that just died, a dick. In my opinion this movie would be nothing without robin Williams and this movie is way below the quality of movie Robin Williams should've been in at any point in his career.
