Thappad is wrong, but leaving a relationship because of that is a blunder. In a relationship, both male and female has the equal responsibility to maintain it. But, in the Indian scenario women's adjustment is comparatively greater than men. The movie should say that men should also respect the relationship. But, separation is not the solution. Indians has a culture to maintain the relationship even while facing the difficulties to maintain it. This movie portray the movement of Indians to western culture, which is actually not a culture at all.
