Beautiful love story with handsome prince and in my opinion a plain Jane princess. However, the story is heartwarming how he risks his life to rescue her from the evil King that captured her.
But too much humor and fantasy to land it from good to great.

In my professional opinion as a scriptwriter and novelist, Gigi is the best romantic comedy musical ever filmed in the history of movies. I'm a POC and given that the movie was filmed over 60 years ago during a segregated society, I greatly appreciate how the movie isn't tainted with POC in servants roles.
It's a delight to watch from the stunning outfits, the humor, the exceptional music. The music always heightens the emotions in a film. The musical score in Gigi is beyond emotionally beautiful.
