This is a rare for me about any film, but I HATED this one. Expertly crafted and perfectly cast, it made me feel terrible from the first minute until the last. I didn't consider it entertainment, but rather torment. Seeing the dog's confusion and broken spirit after being tossed into the shelter's wire kennel broke my heart, and it just kept getting more painful from there.
