HBO 's Sharp Objects is bleak, disturbing and excellent. It's the tastiest surprise of this year with great writing, directing and acting. And it's great to see some real women again on tv.
Amy Adams, Patricia Clarkson, Matt Craven and Eliza Scanlen are brilliant.
But one of the reasons of its excellence is that Sharp Objects is based on a great source material by Gillian Flynn. Well done Marti Noxon, Jean-Marc Vallée.
