Clever, opulent reworking of some Edgar Allen Poe stories. Funny and creepy. Very well cast. Different timeliness and plots going on in each episode but never confusing...

Great series, well acted by all concerned . However Elizabeth and Thomas Seymour were hard to hear occasionally. Really brought the period to life , very lavish and entertaining. Dialogue was understandable to a modern audience without seeming full of anachronism. Enjoyed tremendously so sorry there won't be another series

Complete mess of a film. Set on a greek island apparently although you would never know because the camera doesnt pull back long enough for you to get a sense of place or even know what is going on half the time.. miscast and a nothing story about selfish women who cheat on their husbands with much less attractive men

Very haunting. So well acted by all concerned. Takes it's time but held my interest completely and the ending has a real sting in the tail.

An absorbing look at a murder case I well remember because of the frenzied tabloid coverage at the time ( which now seems so long ago when newspapers were so widely read ) this documentary certainly shows that the main detective, who seemed to fancy himself as a Hercule Poirot, went after the least likely suspect and persisted in a frankly ridiculous theory about the crime whichappeared inspirewhiccame out of hi

Not a patch on the Hitchcock version and the two leads are completely miscast. Lily james is too modern looking and not nuanced enough in her performance and armie hammer is just dull. Aside from that, its watchable enough in a mills and boon kind of way. The first half is slow, though, and the second half feels rushed and panicked. All that miss marple carry on in the doctors strains credibility

Gets off to a promising start but about halfway through loses momentum as the characters increasingly unbelievable behaviour becomes a distraction. Nicely acted by all but overlong.
