This movie may have been on CGI steroids but what movie isn't these days & it really makes it lifelike & enjoyable to watch. As classic as Jaws is, I tried to watch it after this movie & couldn't bc it was great for the time but Jurassic Park did a better job with its use of robotics & puppets & looked more realistic. Times are changing & CGI is taking over so keeping that in mind, it is a really good movie. It has its own unique story line that isn't the same old shark fins surrounding stranded people. It honestly is one of my fav movies!
