I'll explain the 5 ⭐ in points. 1.Brilliant actors and casting. 2.Storytelling is fresh and feels poetic. 3.Story very much relevant specially in the present days of polarity. 4.Soul touching music and scores. 5.Tells volumes about india and it's people just by showcasing a small but famous 'mohalla' of delhi and sends a great message. Its been 14 yrs since the movie released and i decided to give it watch out of the blue. By the time movie finished I wondered how come no one ever talked about this beautiful work of ROM. Although i must say that i was able to appreciate this movie in its entirety which wouldn't have been possible back in the days as a mundane kid.
